MAP TESTING PROGRESS

For my MAP testing scores I really improved my Reading scores. During all the time ive been included with map testing the one that ive improved the most has been reading. I know this beacuse of my graph (non published) . Im really proud of my self for my improvement beacuse I used to have difficulties in reading comprehension. I think this system has helped me a lot. I love this system I think it can help anyone. I also improved my MATH scores. I think this part was the most that iI was proud of beacuse I im NOT good at math. Im proud that I have improved during the time. In conclusion I really improved my map scores of reading and math.

TYPING PROGRESS

For my typing scores during this years I did improve. I improved beacuse Ive become more able to type faster and sometimes without looking a t the keyboard. I really think I'm typing much faster, also im able to type really fast now. I really son't think it's not necessary to include typing master next year. We have already seen this for two years in a row. I think we are all very able to tyoe fast. Some have difficulties but it's not necessary to use this system next year. Also some people have ALREADY become masters. Also we are very smart students to be using typing master. Maybe if we miss behave in a punishment typing master would be good. IN conclusion I improved a lot this year in typing master.

Isabela and Diego

There once was a girl named Isabela. She was a girl very loving, trustworthy, cute, and sweet and everyone liked to spend time with her. Isabela was totally in love with a boy named Diego. A Diego has always secretly admired Isabela. Then one day invited to dine Diego Isabela the next day. She was then arranged embocinada super nice and went out to dinner with Diego.

They began to talk about how they would like to become, what her favorite food, your pet, and listening. Isabela Diego and they exchanged phone numbers and be remained in next week for coffee. Isabela the next morning she and her family went to their beach house is left to the north of the city. Then an evening of wonderful weekend Isabela was walking on the beach when you see a child running with his kite near where he was.

She thought in mind is "this is Diego? Isabela then walked quietly to where the child was with the kite and it was indeed a great happiness él.Isabela greets Diego and gives him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. He was surprised that she is there. Diego who asked her why she was here? And she said she has a home here that she always comes on holidays and weekends. He also has a beach house.

Both were full of happiness that the two had a house so the two decided to see the full moon and the stars together. Then they continued to see until we see an end, all weekend went to his house on the beach and in the afternoon came at sunset and the moon and the stars shine in the dark.

One Saturday Isabela Diego called to ask her out to the beach because he had to teach something. Isabela then runs down the stairs and into the soft white sand, Diego had written "would you be my girlfriend? Isabela embocinadamente said "yes".

Map Testing

Las week we had MAP testing . Map testing really stressed me out. I was very worried of how my scored where going to come out. Also I was a little concerned about what my peers woukld think about my scores. There is really nothing I could change about he Map Testing process. It's a fair test. At the end of the testing I felt good about my scored. My scores really didn't improve but they were average. If I would improve my scores I would concentrate more on reading all the instructions and be shure of what im doing. They proposed to us if we beat our scored from the last testing we would be able to have a free spirit day. It really didn't excite me what so ever, at the end it's just close. One thing that would had motivated me would me missing school one day without redoing the work from the day that I missed.

Powerpoint Presentations AIR POLLUTION! (:

To the gruop that I presented was to the air pollution thinkers. Which included me, Marifer, Fernanda Gerber, and Pedro Pablo. They all had good explinations and example of the topic air pollution. Some of the people who presented had lack of information. One only had one single picture and three slides. I though my powerpoint presentation was pretty acceptable and good. I actually fell confident about my presentation comparing to the others who presented the same topic but with less information. If i could change anything about my presentation is even add more information than it already has, also more pictures and effects to it. In conclusion some of the members did well, and some had lack of effort. I also enjoyed watching other people presented the same topic as I did.

Powerpoint :)

Powerpoint presentations can be distracting, or entretaing to people. Sometimes people put speacial effects, color, letter, and graphs to make it better but actually make them even WORST! For example when I was on sixth grade we would make a powerpoint presentation every quarter. One time there was a presentation that I didn't put attention to it because he put the background green and the letter light green. He tried to make it pretty but actually it confused the audience and the attention of the audience. I actually felt bad for that student beacuse he tried so hard to make the presentation pretty and amazing but he actually made it worst. That student also didn't get a good grade because part of your grade was getting the attention of the audience, he didn't accomplish that. In conclusion powerpoint presentations can be really distracting OR entretaining.

Evaluation (:

I learned many things when I evaluated the videos from other people. I learned how to use a rubric to grade them and see what grade thy actually deserve. I would totally make some changed to me and my partners video. I would change to begin with THE SONG. Another thing I would change would be adding some affects and transitions. to the pictures. Also I would change many of my pictures and make them more proffessionaly. Also I would edit the sound. The videos of the two I graded where actually pretty awsome. Actually, one of them was the winner. The other one that wasn´t the winner wasn´t as good but it was good enough to get a good grade. In conclusion I learned a lot using this kind of evaluation rubrics.

Earth Day Project :)

The Earth Day is April 22. The theacher had us do a video about the Earth with a partener. My partner was one of my best friends Marifer. We had many fights in choosing if we would sing a song or record a poem. So it almost took us two hours to decide. It was a nightmare. Our choice was doing both, singing and recording a poem. In our video we included many pictures of people, earth, and plants, all of pur pictures were taken by us. I really don´t think our video is the BEST one but we used all of our hard work and ability to do it as best as we could. I also enjoyed taking all the pictures and knowing they were taken by us and getting a chance to expose the. If I would acomplish this video again I would do it again and again. I loved having this experince!

Spring Break Baby! :)

In this Spring break I had so much fun with my family and friends. The first week I left to Careyes. Careyes is a beautiful place in Jalisco Mexico, it's paradise. We were there for two nights and three awsome days. For the rest of week one Vallarta was literaly packed so many spring breakers everywere! It was amazing. All the beaches were contaminated. The first week I spended my time in the beach, with friends, and of course the shopping mall.

Sunrise of Sunday everybody left for the second week. The second week was more relaxing and most of all enjoying the rest of time we had before school. I went to many places, I had to enjoy my last week! So all my friends hanged out almost every single day down at the shopping mall until late at night. We went to the movies, we talked, laughted, had so much fun! Also on saturday (two days before the ugly Monday) we had a reunion in a friends house we had a blast! The next day was more relaxing, but we still hanged out down at galerias and had a blast!

Going back to Careyes, this is a beautiful place I visited with my family in the first two days of spring break. This place is so magical. It is located to the North of Puerto Vallarta. We drove there the way there wehad so much fun.. well specially me beacuse I was singing all the way and dancing. When we got there we were very well welcomed by a girl who received us. Then they took us to the house we were going to stay at.. it was awsome! It had a jacussi .. that was the fun part. We also had a beautiful view to the beach. I loved Careyes it is paradise I want to go back!

Going back to galerias! Oh My Gosh I had so much fun with all my friends down at the mall.
Almost EVERYDAY we would wake up get changed and hit the mall all day! Its so much fun, the basic things we would do would be EAT SUSHI! also talk not stoping we would some days get some new close and stuff but not much. Not only we arrived to galerias early we also stayes there almost ALL day long. In conclusion this are some of the best vacations I had ever expericned. Starting from friends, family, and lots of experience and fun times! :) Also

Problems with Rotoball :)

This project was a really good experience for me. I loved everything about it. It was very easy when you get into it. It is hard at first but once you get the hang of it, it very easy. I did have a difficulty with the movement and actions of the ball. That part I didn't understand it. What I did to overcome it was to ask for help and a better explanation from my classmates and my teacher Mr. Mark. The rotoball that I liked and enjoyed the most was Debora's Mestre one. I liked it the most because she was very creative with her ideas. Also what I liked about it was all the effects that she put into her video. In conclusion I really liked and enjoyed having the experience to do rotoball and I liked Debora's the most.

Six Scents :)

This video really amazed me. At first I really didnt get the whole idea what I was watching, but after a while it seemed really cool and amazing to me. I really would like the opportunity to make a video of these to experience something like this. I had never had the opportunity to work with this advanced technology.

I really feel some kind of passion and obsesion with the new technology. I just simply love it. What I love the most of this advanced technology is that it makes our lives just so easier than before. Like all the ways of writing and remenders like the post its on the computer. Itd just amazing to me how technology never stops improving. Another thing that really amazes my eyes is that they way people think about improving the technology.

I think what Ted did is the ost amazi did the human nature cxan create. Can the technology get any better? WOW!

My Rotoball Idea

Social Networking :)

Us teenagers don't really communicate like our parents used to thirty years ago. Facebook, Hotmail, Twitter, Myspce and more are the new and entertaining was for us to communicate today. All of our persona is online well, most of it. When we communicate online is to talk about what we would talk on the phone and stuff like that. Also there is the bad part which is to be bulling or harassing people and telling them bad and mean things.They had have been conflicts online with many people, like insulting them. This way of bulling does not make teenagers more popular by bulling people online. Some people are bullies on the internet because they are afraid to tell the others the insults in person, so they have another resource, which is the internet. In conclusion they are many good and bad things about the internet you just have to know how to use it and make decisions on how you use it because you might hurt peoples feelings.

Digital Media In Schools :)

The digital media in schools is very helpful to do our assignment that teachers give us. I really think that the internet at school is very good for us. In one part of the video there was this teenage guy who was saying that he felt like he was cheating by getting most of the information from the internet and not from a book. Teachers and parents are really taking this in a bad way, yes they were teenagers at some point, but they didn't grow up with this resource. Also this is our way to do our homework, we already got used to it. I don't think that the guy who said that in the video should feel like he is cheating. My reason for that is because its not his fault to have the internet resource and we grew up like that and its actually the internet is a better resource than a boring book. This is also a very fast way to get our homework and reading done. In conclusion I think that the internet at school is important and not bad in any way.

Internet At Home :)

I think that who ever produced this video is trying to tell us that the internet is dangerous and bad for us teenagers. I think that the target for this video is the parents because they are trying to influence them to make there teenage kids quit the internet resource. The internet at home can be dangerous and helpful in many ways. Like if per say a kid is uploading inappropriate pictures online that is bad, but it also depends how are parents and other people who see it, take the situation. Also there is some exaggeration from our parents when they want to invade our space online, like asking us our passwords or going on our private things while we are in school. Another thing that can also be dangerous on the internet is talking to people you don't know that's one of the parts that parents are most concerned about.

Part 2 :)

The teacher that entertains me the most is Mr. Whitten, because he makes jokes and at the same time does a good job at teaching us the material; the bad part is that we concentrate too much on his jokes and sometimes miss the focus of what he is trying to teach us.
I have mixed thoughts on whether or not he should feel guilty because on one hand it is cheating he is doing less work then was assigned to him; but on the other hand it is the new technology and he is doing the most with the resources that are most easily available to him.

Computer At Home

Today we saw a video about how tenagers now at days use the computer much. In my home I use the computer the most but compared to my classmates im one of the least ones who use it. That reason is beacuse my mom dosent like me being on the computer that much. In my home there is one single computer which is upstairs at a desk. I don't have one on my room neither I have a laptop. the computer is basically used for getting mjy homework done and for communication on facebook, hotmail meesenger, and more. The computer is much different than other forms of communication beacuse we use it too get emails, you can also watch tv,etc. In conclusion I use the computer to comunicate but not as much as others. T

My Winter Break :)

In my winter break I had lots of fun with all my friends and family. In christmas eve I had turkey for dinner and I had dinner with all my family and friends. It was so much fun. That night I also received some wery cool presents from my parents. We also went to church for the ocasion. Another cool thing that we did that day was braking a piñata which is not usual for my age but I had gun haha.

For the christmas day I was so exited because I woke up and surprise surprise! more presents yay! I got many more presents from "Santa Claus" I was so exited . That day I went to have breakfast to the marina club golf course. I went on the golf cart with my dad and my brother. I took pictures with my bran new black camera. That day was pretty much very relaxing. At night me and my family went and had some tacos at the malecon, they were really good.

For New Years, in the morning I went to partyland and got some cool stuff to decorate the hole house. That day I also heleped my mom cook dinner all day, that was very exhausting. Then at night we had dinner, we danced. But most of all we had a super great time! HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!
